This unique solid silver pipi clam shell necklace is formed from 1.2mm thick silver and not a coated or dipped shell.
The shell is a 4cm long real purple pipi / tellin shell found washed up empty at a local beach is encased in a thick outer shell which has been filed and set with a tiny turquoise opal at the centre of a wild flower by Pa-pa, Gower silversmith.
